1. Activate the tool

Choose Circle from the Draw section. The New Circle form appears in the right sidebar while a preview ring tracks your inputs on the canvas.

2. Right sidebar options

Position

Enter X and Y for the circle centre relative to your reference point.

Size

Check Use Diameter if you think in full hole or disc size rather than radius. Enter the value in your project units.

3. Create the shape

Click Save Changes or press Enter to place the circle on the active layer. Cancel abandons the draft.

Closed circular paths work well for cut-out discs, washer rings, and round engraving boundaries.

4. Edit mode

Click an existing circle to rename it or adjust centre and size. Delete removes it from the drawing.

Laser tips

For cut-out holes, size the circle to the finished opening — kerf compensation is handled when you configure the cut operation. Pair circles with Repeat (Circluar) to place bolt-hole patterns around a hub.
