1. Open the tool
Click QR Code under Draw. The right sidebar opens the QR creation form with a live preview on the canvas as values are updated.
2. Right sidebar fields
Payload Type
| Option | Description |

| Text / URL | Encodes plain text or a web link |
| WiFi | Encodes network credentials for phone scanning |
Content
Text / URL — enter the string to encode in the multiline field.
WiFi — fill in Network name (SSID), Password, Security (WPA, WEP, or Open), and optionally Hidden network.
QR Settings
| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Error correction | Low, Medium, Quartile, or High — higher levels survive partial damage but increase module count |
| Size — square edge (mm) | Physical width and height of the printed code |
Position
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| X, Y | Centre of the QR square |
| Rotation (°) | Angle on the bed |
Click the canvas to set position, or type coordinates directly. Fine-tune placement with Transform.
3. Create or cancel
Create QR Code commits the qr code to the active layer. Cancel clears the preview.
Laser tips
Use High error correction for workshop labels that may get scuffed. Test scan before batch production.
