1. Start drawing
Select Star from Draw. New Star appears in the right sidebar with a five-point default.
2. Sidebar controls
Position
X and Y for the star centre.
Size
Outer Radius sets how far the points extend from centre.
Points
Count controls the number of tips — from simple four-point shapes to detailed multi-point stars.
Inner Radius
Percent of outer (%) adjusts valley depth. Lower values make a sharper star; higher values approach a regular polygon.
Rotation
Angle (degrees) orients the star before placement.
3. Create the shape
Save Changes or Enter commits a closed star path. Cancel closes the tool.
4. After creation
Clicking the star opens the edit menu to adjust settings, or rename.
Laser tips
Stars make strong decorative cuts and awards silhouettes. Can also be combined with Fillet for smooth or decorative corners.
