1. Start the tool
Select Text ( T icon) from Draw. New Text opens in the right sidebar.
2. Sidebar fields

Click the bed to place the cursor, then enter your label, serial number, or URL in the text box.
Font

Curve
Turn on Curve text to bend a single line of lettering on an arc or around a shape. See Curved Text.
Position

3. Finish
Create Text adds vector outlines to the active layer once text and position are set. Cancel exits without creating geometry.
4. Edit later
Click text on the canvas to change content, font, or placement. Delete removes it.

To bend lettering on an arc or around a shape, see Curved Text.
Outlined text cuts cleanly at small sizes. For filled lettering, combine with fill operations after creating the outlines. Mirror symmetric labels with Mirror or reposition with Transform.
