1. Open the tool
Click Arc under Draw. The right sidebar opens New Arc with a creation-mode selector.
2. Arc creation modes
| Mode | Steps |
|---|---|
| Start → End → Bulge (default) | Set start point, end point, then bulge point (click or drag on canvas to set curvature) |
| Center → Start → End | Set centre, start point, then end point |
Switch modes with the radio buttons at the top of the panel. Changing mode resets in-progress points.
3. Right sidebar steps
Each step offers X / Y fields and a Set Point button, or you can click the canvas instead.
For the final step, click the canvas to create the arc or press Create Arc.
Cancel exits without saving.
4. Editing an existing arc
Select an arc to open Edit Arc with:
| Section | Fields |
|---|---|
| Name | Shape label |
| Start Point | X, Y |
| End Point | X, Y |
| Radius | Arc radius |
| Rotation | Orientation |
CNC notes
Arcs export as true G2/G3-style curves in toolpaths. Combine arcs and lines in Polyline paths for complex profiles, then use Join if segments do not meet.
