1. Open the tool

Click Circle under Draw in the left toolbar. The right sidebar shows New Circle with a canvas preview centred on the stock.


2. Right sidebar — New Circle

Position

Field Description
X Centre X coordinate
Y Centre Y coordinate

Size

Control Description
Use Diameter Toggle between radius and diameter input
Radius / Diameter Size of the circle (must be greater than zero)

3. Save or cancel

  • Save Changes (or Enter) — adds the circle to the active layer.
  • Cancel — closes without creating geometry.

Circles are closed contours suitable for profile cuts (outside, inside, or online) and pocket clearing.


4. Editing an existing circle

Select a circle to open Edit Circle with Name, Position, Size, Save Changes, and Delete.


CNC notes

For through-holes, draw the circle at finished diameter and use an inside profile toolpath with your cutter radius in mind. For counterbores, combine with Drill toolpaths at the same centre point.

For bolt-hole patterns around a hub, duplicate a circle with Repeat (Circular).
