CNC notes

Engraving depth and tool choice are set in toolpath operations, not in the text tool. Use centre alignment for symmetric labels on parts, left alignment for datum-edge placement. Reposition with Transform or Mirror for symmetric layouts.

To leave letters standing proud of the surface (relief lettering), nest the text inside a closed outline and pocket with Subtract nested shapes — see Raised text.
