1. Open the tool

Click the Import icon (landscape/image icon) under Tools in the left toolbar. You can also use File → Import… from the top menu — both open the same file dialog.

Supported formats: SVG, DXF, and AI.

2. Import workflow

  1. Choose a file from the dialog.
  2. Imported paths appear on the canvas at the reference origin.
  3. Paths are added to the active layer as editable shapes.

There is no separate right-sidebar form for import — placement and scaling are done after import using Transform or shape edit panels.

3. After import

  • Select imported geometry to move, resize, or rotate with Transform
  • Select all (cmd + a / control +a), or individual vectors to apply profile of pocket toolpaths.
  • Closed regions from SVG may become Region shapes suitable for pocket toolpaths

If imported artwork has many vectors to apply a toolapath to, right click the import name (right sidebar > design > vectors) and select a toolpath to apply to all.
