1. Open the tool
Click Ellipse in the left toolbar Draw section. The right sidebar opens New Ellipse with a live preview on the canvas.

Defaults are 50 × 30 mm (or 2 × 1.2 in in inch mode).
Rotation

| Angle (degrees) | Rotates the ellipse about its centre |
3. Save or cancel
Save Changes (or Enter) commits the ellipse. Cancel discards the preview.
Ellipses export as smooth closed curves for profile and pocket toolpaths.
4. Editing
Select an ellipse to open Edit Ellipse with Name, all dimension fields, Save Changes, and Delete.
