1. Open the tool
Click Star in the Draw group. The right sidebar opens New Star with a five-point preview.

| Outer Radius | Distance from centre to each outer point |
Points

Inner Radius

| Percent of outer (%) | How deep the valleys cut relative to the outer radius (default 50%) |
Rotation
| Field | Description |

| Angle (degrees) | Rotates the star about its centre |
3. Save or cancel
Save Changes (or Enter) creates a closed polyline star. Cancel discards the draft.
4. Editing
Select a star to open the edit menu, or use transform for fine adjustments.
